Day 132
Woke up at 3 for the last time today. My bed at the hotel was really comfy! Liz and I took a taxi to the airport and saw Anna. We got breakfast at Starbucks and departed ways. I slept on part of my flight. It was super cramped. That's it for Alaska! Until next year...........
Day 130 and 131
Day 130: Today was my last 3am shift! It was waaaaaay busier than we expected and we ran out of food really quickly and had to run and grab more! Lynx was slow. After Lynx, Liz and I went up to Rapids to clean everything. Unfortunately for us, they turned the water off. We had to go down to River Run to get water, which we didn't mind because that means overtime pay while we went down. We finally clocked out at 5pm. It was a really long day. When I got home, I started packing and cleaning so that in the morning it would be a quick clean-up.
Day 131: This is it! I woke at 7 and went and got breakfast. It wasn't very good and I think it got me a little sick because on the bus to the depot I felt like I needed to puke.... But back to checkout.... I had so much to do and Anna wouldn't get out of bed and so when she finally got up, she had to rush around and do everything. I had to wait for her to finally do all her stuff so we could get someone to come do a room check for us. I took the bus to the depot and we got on the train late. They gave us really crappy bagged lunches and it made us feel like we were on an elementary school field trip again! The train ride was pretty. We went over a bunch of ravines and rivers. I slept a few times on the train too..... The train had glass ceilings so you could see everything. There were a few times that we could see Denali. It was so pretty it made me want to cry a little bit. We finally got to Anchorage at 8 and took a bus to our hotel. It was a pretty nice hotel for being so cheap! Liz and I went out and got dinner and then came back and repacked our bags so they would fit everything. I ended up getting a bunch of her music off her computer too! It is 1245 and I have to wake up in 3 hours. I can't believe I am almost done in Alaska. It feels like I just got here and I am sad because I am just now coming out of my shell and talking to people I don't know! Seattle, here I come!

Day 126, 127, 128 and 129
Day 126: Today I worked 4-3. It was exhausting...
Day 127: I worked 4-2 today. I was lucky enough to come home and be able to take a nap! I didn't even mean to fall asleep, it just happened. When I woke up, I turned the TV on and the movie 'I Love You, Man' was on, and I have never seen it. It was a really good movie. After that, Megan came to my room and we swapped more music. 3 days left :)
Day 128: I worked another 4-3 today. It was also Nadia's last day! I am so glad I am done working with her now and for good! I got to be on register at Lynx (which I love) and we got really busy. The other guy on register was really slow and it made me laugh when I had gone through multiple guests before he had finished with one! When I got home, I watch TV with Anna for a little bit, then took the shuttle into the Canyon with Steven and went to dinner at King Salmon. I got the Asiago Crusted Halibut. It was really good. I haven't had halibut that good in a really long time. It was nice to just sit and laugh with a friend since the last few weeks have been pretty frustrating and busy.
Day 129: Today was the second to last day before I get to go home! Rapids was super slow. We didn't get a guest in until 615am. It was weird. Tony had a lot of attitude all day today. He was cranky! Lynx was the busiest it has ever been! We were busy from the moment we opened until 230 when I closed my bank out and then I got to leave at 3. I came home and cleaned my room up a bit and packed my bags more. I went to dinner and the roast beef tasted like dog food. It was so gross. I watched V For Vendetta with Liz and Anna after dinner. I can't believe tomorrow is my last work day. It seems like I have been here a long time, but it doesn't seem like I should be going home already! Part of me wants to stay, but a bigger part of me wants to go home. I think I am going to try and come back next year as a supervisor. I also found out today that I get to ride the train to Anchorage :) Dad thinks I should try to get into the engine for a little bit of the trip. My final 3am shift starts in 6 hours! I hope I get to see the Northern Lights in the morning.....

Day 124 and 125
Day 124: Work was work today. I only have 1 week left and it seems to creep by slower and slower! It isn’t just me that thinks that either. Oh, at Lynx today, my manager told me that for the rest of the season, minus Saturday, I would be staying until 3. That means 11 hour days or more : ) Lots of overtime to end my season on!
After work, I went across the street and got free ice cream with Trisha and I also went to the camera shop and bought a flashdrive. I needed it to transfer music with Megan. When I got home, I waited around until Megan got home. We started transferring music, but eventually I had to go. I needed to catch the bus into property for a special sale where I could earn points towards winning a camera, nook, digital picture frame or ipod doc. I want 1st, 2nd, or 4th. After the sale, I talked to mom and Casey for a while and then went home and went to bed. Tomorrow is my last day off!
Day 125: Today was an awesome day off! I slept until noon, got lunch at EDR, then cleaned my room. When Anna got home, we decided to go to Prospectors for dinner that night. So after an hour or so of farting around, we left and Trisha and Liz came with us. It was fun. I also got some more points at Magic Carpet just by dancing with a tourist. Then I came home, took a shower and went to bed! So close and yet so far from home! Happy Birthday Dave!

Day 123
What could be the possible significance of day one-two-three? I know!!!! 1 WEEK LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so glad I came up here but I am also so glad to go home!
Rapids was just Nadia and I because Liz called in sick. Nadia's husband came in and told her he might be fired and so she started freaking out. Lynx got really busy and I didn't feel very well but I got to run around there until 2. When I came home, Anna and I went upstairs and watched The Count of Monte Cristo and Shark Tale. Liz and Trisha watched them with us. It was nice to just sit and do nothing.

Day 122
Rapids was slow. It was just Tony and I. Lynx was cool. The one cook we had scheduled was sick, so I got to get a chef coat and hat and got to work on pizzas! It was cool. Then I had to work up front again : / I also found out that I got a hotel room booked in Anchorage! 8 days left! Yay!
When Anna got home from work we listened to music for an hour and then went back to the canyon. We went around to the shops and looked at the sales! At Dizzy Lizzy's,a little hippie store, all merchandise is 60% off and next week it goes up to 70% off :) I bought a few pretty pieces of jewelry. I caught the shuttle in and took a shower. I really hope that someone calls me if the Northern Lights are out because I still haven't seen them. Oh, and Grace called me and she gets to do a speech in her theater class about guard. It will be about something she is passionate about and I think it is funny she is still a guardie! haha

Day 121
I should have drank more water yesterday. I woke up with a migraine and I know it wasn't caffeine's fault because I haven't had any. So I slept all day. When I say all day, I mean all day. It is my normal bedtime now and I just woke up.... 9 days left!
